Volunteer Today!
Volunteers are an invaluable part of Tamassee’s team! We believe children and moms thrive in caring, supportive relationships. Volunteers give their time, presence, and experiences to impact students and families. There are opportunities to volunteer in Starlight, our educational programs, at our Thrift Store, and on our campus. Volunteer Opportunities:
- Afterschool Tutors (Monday-Friday 4:15-4:50pm)
- Afterschool Transporter (Monday-Friday 2:00pm-3:30pm)
- Starlight GED Tutors (Monday-Friday 8:00-4:00pm)
- Certified Teacher (preferred but not required)
- Starlight Transporter
- Tuesdays and Wednesdays- As needed. Will be scheduled in advanced with Community Life Coordinator
- Thursdays 12:30-2:30pm: Transport from Tamassee to Seneca and back.
- Sundays 10:30am: Transport to Welcome Wesleyan. Please commit to at least once a month.
- Sundays 4:15pm-8:45pm: Transport from Tamassee to East Pickens Baptist Church.
