Summer Camp

We want you to make Tamassee DAR School Summer Camp Program your child’s home away from home this summer.  Our historical campus will be utilized for adventures, events, challenges and learning opportunities that will provide summer memories that children will carry with them for years to come.

Each week will carry a specific theme with daily activities designed to re-enforce the values and traits associated with the characteristics of each subject.

WEEKLY THEMES

SPORTS AND RECREATION

During our sports and recreation focused week, campers will participate in a variety of activities and games related to different sports and recreational activities.  This will include learning about a variety of sports, their rules and history, and how to play them.  Campers will also learn about outdoor safety and healthy living.

DRAMA

During our drama focused week, campers will have the opportunity to participate in the production of a play.  Campers will work on all aspects of a play including acting, directing, and scene setting.  Additionally, campers will learn about the history of plays and how to create their own.

STEM/CODING

During the STEM focused week, campers will participate in a week long “science fair” where they have the ability to discover key concepts in STEM while brainstorming solutions to real world problems.

ARTS & CRAFTS

During our Arts & Crafts week, campers will be able to embrace their inner creative and participate in a variety of art activities. This will include a combination of daily and weekly activities that will help campers create something of their own. The week will be capped off with a celebration where the camper can show off what they have done.

CELEBRATION WEEK

During the Celebration Week, each day will be a look back at what campers have accomplished each previous week, culminating with a celebration party on Friday where we invite all who have come a week of camp and their families to join us for a cookout and review of camp.

MEALS

Our full day program includes healthy breakfast, lunch, and a mid-day snack for each student.

Regular Hours (7:30 am-5:30 pm) Extended day (7:30 am- 6:00 pm)
 

$100 per week for the 1st child

$ 90 per week for the 2nd child

$ 80 per week for the 3rd child

 

$115 per week for the 1st child

$ 90 per week for the 2nd child

$ 80 per week for the 3rd child

Enroll your camper for the entire summer program, or select those weeks that best peak their interests.  Either way, they will make warm summer memories to carry with them for years to come.
