Every gift you give now may be doubled through a matching gift from your company—even if you are now retired! You can provide safety, stability, counseling, education and so much more for children and families in need. Join us and double the support and care we can give to those who need it most.

Many companies offer matching gift programs that allow them to match the donations their employees make to eligible nonprofits. It’s a simple way to double your impact and support the work happening at Tamassee.

In most cases, the donor must start the matching gift request. This may be done by completing a paper form from your employer or submitting an online request. Please check your company’s matching gift information through our Double the Donation portal to learn the steps specific to your employer.

If your company uses an online matching gift portal

Use your company’s matching gift platform to submit your matching gift verification request. Be sure to use Tamassee’s address where you made your contribution.  (See Tamassee address and EIN number below)

If your company uses printed forms

Obtain a matching gift verification form from your company’s personnel/human resources office. Complete the form using your company’s official name. Be sure to complete the entire donor portion of the form and to include a copy of your gift receipt (if available). Our greatest need is for our annual unrestricted funds (general operations).

No problem. If you submitted your matching request somewhere other than our website, please email us at apitts@tdarschool.org and  jeller@tdarschool.org so we can track your match and ensure that its properly credited.

If you forget to submit your match, don’t worry. You’ll receive automated reminder emails to help you complete the process. Most companies now use an easy online submission system.

Your personal donation to Tamassee is tax-deductible. However, the matching gift from your employer is not, since only the individual or organization making the gift can claim the deduction.
