On May 4, 2009 the professional organization of South Carolina's Department of Probation, Parole and Pardon Services honored Tamassee with its yearly charitable donation.

 

Tamassee DAR School was certainly honored to be chosen for this donation by such a prestigious group.  The committee members responsible for choosing the charity came on campus for a tour, lunch in the dining hall and the check presentation.

 

All committee members present expressed an interest in becoming volunteers for Tamassee. They have already helped us with a "shadow day" for one our students interested in law enforcement.  We look forward to working with this great group in the days to come!
