Day Care
Tamassee DAR School beleives that love, care, and the education of our most precious assets- children, begins in the home. That is why we are happy to be a natural extension, resource and partner of parents seeking a secure, loving, learning and nurturing environment to care for their children while at work or doing daily activities.
Located in the Pennsylvania Children's Center, the Tamassee DAR School Day Care is owned and operated by Tamassee DAR School and is liscensed by the Department of Social Service of South Carolina to care for up to 54 children. The Day Care Program provides child care services for ages 2 through 12 years.
Our "little ones" begin learning the basics through interactive and fun activities such as learning colors through finger painting, language and verbal skills through nursery rhymes, shapes and numbers through play and positive reinforcement. For our Preschooler's, the South Carolina State Education Curriculum is used for teaching and preparing them for entrance into the world of Kindergarten.
A teacher's aide is provided for our after school students to help with homework. Reading, arts and crafts, and activiteis are provided to engage and strengthen cognitive skills and to assist parents that may be drained from a long day of work.

6:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
